An additional bonus for eating healthy: clipping coupons doesn't take as long. All I need are the ones for toiletries and cleaning supplies. I can toss the
numerous coupons for packaged foods: cereals, soups, lunch meat, cookies, crackers, chips, candy, ice cream...
I clip coupons too but I send my un-wanteds to a friend who is stationed in Japan with the Marine Corps. She said they can use them up to 6 months after they expire. I make out a few pre-addressed, stamped envelopes and just slip them in every Monday morning and send them to her APO box. She really appreciates them.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of coupons for junk food, I've noticed!
Susan...Great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt gets even simpler when you start weeding out gluten and dairy!
